Notice of Determination of Executive Candidates

Funai Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”) hereby announces the decision to discuss the following proposed Director appointments at the 57th annual General Shareholders Meeting schedule for June 19, 2009 was made in today’s Nomination Committee Meeting.
Furthermore, the Company hereby announces that a proposal has been confirmed for the selection/appointment of various committee members, along with corporate officers/the Chief Executive Officer, at the convening of the first Board of Directors Meeting following the conclusion of the annual General Shareholder’s Meeting.
